Dr. Umar Saif, a government official in charge of technology and communication, mentioned that discussions are underway with PayPal and Stripe to bring their services to Pakistan. The government aims to persuade PayPal to offer services in Pakistan through a third-party, similar to how it operates in Egypt.

They have requested PayPal to allow Pakistani freelancers to transfer money to Pakistan through a one-way service. Talks with PayPal are scheduled in a week. Conversations with Stripe, another payment platform, are also in progress.

 The government is determined to bring PayPal and Stripe to Pakistan, enabling freelancers and online businesses to receive payments easily.

 They are also exploring options like dollar accounts and corporate cards for IT companies to manage their finances effectively.

 Additionally, efforts are being made to advance the next phase of RAAST merchant payments for seamless transactions.
